Greetings,

My name is Tieasha James, a Youth Advocate. I am so happy you found my website.  I am a teacher of Life Skills and personality development. My goal is to empower individuals by teaching positive thought patterns, help  them to gain confidence, improve positive behavior, learn better communication skills and develop a healthy physique. I am able to achieves my goals, by having willing and open minded participants with the proper support of their families.  I love helping the youth see their value and a positive  self concept.

I love being a leader in the community, helping to guide our youth in a positive direction along side their parents, family, church and other community leaders.

A little more about me: I live in Arcola, Texas, I have 4 adult college children. My world view on life is simply to do no harm to my fellow Man and to always look out for the common good in Man.

My goal with this Homeschooling Coop is to work as an alternative instructor to core curriculum education by teaching children and teens positive thinking skills, to become self sufficient and independent in life through various life skills and personality develop training's.

I plan to start the classes on January 20, 2020 at various locations. I would love the right balance of individual personalities that are excited and want to be apart of new experiences, plus a desire to want to learn more about themselves.

The students can expect to receive life skills classes, personality development training, etiquette classes, debutante and masters training, real life field experiences, resiliency training, behavior training, positive thinking training, positive actions training, speech training plus so much more to name a few.

I am a proud graduate of Texas Southern University. I am a Certified Christian Counselor, Positive Action Instructor, Life Skills Instructor, Reconnecting Youth Instructor, Abstinence Educator, and Certified Mental Health First Aid Responder with a CPR certification. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing where I support individuals to call forth their own motivation and commitments in life.

I’m am pleased with my decision of bringing all of my certifications to my local community. If you would like your son or daughter to be apart of my Community Service Coop please respond in a message below, with your contact information and the names and ages of your children. All training's are age appropriate and Free. Please note, I am in no way trying to portray, or come across as a professional licensed counselor, therapist or medical doctor because I am not. I teach and train individuals in a group settings and or offer individual Christian Counseling to encourage positive peer to peer interactions and social skills. I training and follow the evidenced based curriculum's that I am trained to teach.
